Keeping Your Future Zesty Scholarship

At Zesty.io, we pride ourselves on "zest-ing" up the lives of our clients and our employees. With summer coming to a close and back-to-school season fast approaching, we'd like to zest up your life too! 

This scholarship was established by the internal team at Zesty with the hopes of inspiring future tech professionals to continue their education. Two students will be selected to receive a $500 scholarship to go towards their tuition, books, or other education-related expenses.

High School, Undergraduate, Transfer, and Graduate students studying computer science, computer engineering, technology and information management, or any related degree who are planning on pursuing a career in the technology field are welcome to apply. Students who are planning on attending or are currently enrolled in a code camp or related continuing education program are also welcome to apply.

Eligibility Requirements

• Must be pursuing a degree or career related to the technology field

• Must have the following enrollment status:

  • High school students enrolled full-time in an accredited 2 or 4-year college, community college, code bootcamp, or university for Fall 2022

  • Undergraduate or Transfer students enrolled full-time in the above mentioned institutions for Fall 2022

  • Graduate students enrolled full-time in the above mentioned institutions for Fall 2022

  • Students planning to attend or currently enrolled in a code camp or related continuing education program

• No age requirements

• No GPA requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen, DACA recipient, or permanent resident

How to Apply  

Students are encouraged to apply by submitting their application on this page starting on August 1, 2022 at 8 a.m. PST. For Fall 2022, the scholarship will close on September 9th, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. PST and will be awarded by September 16th, 2022.

Applicants should complete all parts of the online application to qualify for consideration. If submitting via email, applicants must include all of the following information:  

• First and last name  

• Valid email address

• Permanent mailing address  

• Date of birth

• Institution attending in Fall 2022

• Area of study

• Anticipated college graduation date (month/year)

• 500-1000 word essay in response to the prompt below

A series of documentation will be requested via email or phone from the finalists to verify eligibility.  

Awards will be given based on the following criteria:  

The essay should fully answer the question: “How does your education help keep your future zesty?” In other words, how will your studies ensure that you will be able to live your best life post-grad?

A panel of judges will review the applications. Essays will be judged on the following criteria:

• Applicants must follow the essay prompt

• Submissions must be 500-1000 words

• Submissions should clearly relate their education to technlogy

2 winners will each receive a one-time scholarship check of $500 to be used for future educational expenses.
