New accounts interface
Zesty.io is replacing its old account interface with a new design that is integrated into our main website. The updated interface includes new features for accounts such as usage statistics, webhooks, and language management.
The original accounts interface was released in March 2018 (view the original accounts repository here) with a code base that was Zesty.io's first open-source repository written in React.
The new accounts interface will release in October 2022. Its codebase is also open-source and written in React, but now with Next.js. View the code base here.
Head to your instance at www.zesty.io/login/ to see the new experience.

What's new in Accounts 2022?
The goal of the updated accounts interface is to deliver an improved user experience with a robust feature set that supports our users and their content instances. New interfaces were added to support our expansive APIs to give more control and insight into content instances. Accounts features now include multi-language control, bandwidth and request usage insights, streaming instance updates that give users insight into their team actions, and much more.
The new accounts view is integrated alongside the main Zesty.io website, which enables us to integrate the marketplace more directly into instances, along with more contextual developer documentation.
A huge effort and a big release
This whole team effort resulted in an impressive 90-day turnaround that included over 42,000 lines of code! It was a full team effort taken on by support, marketing, design, backend, and frontend development. Explore the code pull request in detail here. Hats off to the Zesty.io team for making this happen!
What does this mean for you?
This is a complimentary upgrade that will roll out for all Zesty.io users. The update will occur automatically so there are no actions needed to migrate. The new account system will be available as an integrated experience on the www.zesty.io website. This update will not affect your existing instances in any way.
When is this occurring?
The accounts cutover will be on October 14, 2022. While the new accounts interface is launching, the old accounts interface will be available until the end of November. You can preview new accounts at https://beta.zesty.io, and old accounts will remain accessible at https://accounts.zesty.io.
