Automatic XML Sitemap Generation
Did you know a XML sitemap is automatically generated for your site on Zesty? Zesty automatically creates one and assigns priorities to pages based on their location on your site.
You can find your sitemap in the standard location. Most search engines will automatically detect it.

Now, you can also control the priority setting for each page, or choose to exclude a page from the sitemap.
Also, previously, if you hid a page from navigation, it would be hidden from the sitemap as well. Now, you can put a page in your sitemap even if it is a hidden page.
Why does my sitemap matter?
An XML sitemap allows Google and other search engines to more efficiently index your website. A sitemap can help Google discover pages sooner and helps with sites with a large number of pages. It is faster for Google to check one file (your sitemap) than to check the whole website for new links to new pages. Google will continue to do both, but with a sitemap, you are at an advantage.
